Innovative Recruitment originally serviced the Melbourne metropolitan area in the seventies under the trading name Footscray & City Personnel.
Due to a growing client base the business relocated to Port Melbourne in 1995 and became Innovative Recruitment.Â
Today we service a large range of organisations and specialise in the Telecommunications, Manufacturing and Logistics industry.
Our
Story
Dusanka first started in Human Resources with her focus in recruitment.

She then decided to go out on her own where she opened “Footscray Personnel” located in Leed Street, Footscray in the 1970’s. She then purchased her first house in Footscray and immersed herself in the community.
​
She was well known and would place people in the right positions without receiving any fees as her key motivation was to help her community find work.
This led to an increase in opportunities and Dusanka decided to relocate; Footscray Personnel became Innovative Recruitment in Port Melbourne. She was active in the business well into her 80’s before retiring and enjoying her remaining years with family and friends.
